'African Violets', Watercolour, 24cm X 40cm.

This was painted on massa paper, which produced a soft, batik effect. I was given the flowers as a gift, and I found them a very unusual colour, with a lovely rustic blue basket, which is just visible at the bottom of the painting. This was painted for an article in Leisure Painter.
