'Rosehips', Watercolour, 24cm X 32cm.

This is still one of my favourite paintings to date. I love botanical art, and the sight of these large red succulent hips in my garden sent me running for my paintbrush and paper. I really wanted to capture the highlights and glossiness of the rosehips, and the wonderful pale green underside of the leaves.
