"Helleborus Orientalis 'Cygnus'", Watercolour.

Originally painted for Daler Rowney, using FW Acrylics on massa paper, which gives a wonderful texture to the painting. I very much enjoyed painting this beautiful hellebore. It has a wonderful waxy texture and almost spherical buds which verge on to the lime green tinge to the centre of the flowers.
